I've heard many a person complain about their fear of the unknown, and while there's nothing wrong with that, there is something about simple formulas for overcoming fear and worry. Here's how to get out of that rut:
First of all, look at it from a perspective of "why" you're having trouble facing your fears. If you can figure out why you have such a problem, you'll be much closer to being able to overcome it. The same goes for worries over past failures in life: find out what it was that made you stop yourself from going after your dreams. In your search for a formula for overcoming your fear and worry, you might also want to try to find a positive way to approach the situation. You can do that by thinking that your fears are silly and that they are simply a way for you to avoid doing the things that you want to do. It may seem like a simple formula, but once you have found that one that works for you, the rest will fall into place, making things much easier for you. This isn't to say that there aren't other ways to handle fear and worry, but in most cases, it comes down to a simple formula that can be used time and again. Now that you know the simple formula for overcoming fear and worry, you're going to be better prepared to face life's challenges. It's just that simple. Your first step is to figure out what you're afraid of. Once you have an idea of what you're afraid of, you can use that to create your formula for overcoming your fears. It might take a little work, but it's definitely worth it. Once you've identified what it is that makes you nervous, you can apply that to your situation. For instance, if you're afraid of the sun, create a scenario where the sun never touches you. That would be a pretty good formula for overcoming your fear of the sun.
